Today Erika, Sara and I went to a peach orchard in Gainsville, TX to pick our own fresh peaches.
This is me. It wasn't even 10:00 in the morning and it was already hot outside!

Oh my! It has been YEARS since I bottled peaches like that! I used to do probably 75 quarts a year when I lived in CA. I did pears, tomatoes, salsa, apple sauce, and jam, too. It is so much work! but I loved seeing all my beautiful bottles of canning on my pantry shelves. My older girls can remember doing the canning. I don't even have the jars or other equipment any more! I am so proud of you. That is a great accomplishment.
Wow! Great Job! I have one peach tree. I hope I get a little fruit this year. Your canned peaches look beautiful!
