Memorial Day Lake Activity

This is Brother and Sister Koerner. Brother Koerner is the Ward Clerk in my Ward. I actually met them when I was in the Rockwall Ward. They are great people and I'm glad they are part of the Dallas 11th Ward too.

This is Brother and Sister Clinger. A couple Sunday's ago we got a new Bishopric and Brother Clinger is our new 1st Counselor.

This is Bishop Hunter. He was our 1st Counselor for just over a year and now he's our new Bishop. He's a great guy and we are lucky to have him as our new Bishop.

This is my good friend Eric. And I apologize I don't remember this sister's name. I am soooo bad with names.

This is Stori and Erica.

Again I apologize I don't remember these sisters names. I know they are new in the ward but that's about it.

My ward had a lake activity today out at lake Lavon. This is me and Erika. There was water tubing, sand volleyball and horseshoe tossing. It was great. I only went water tubing...after that I was to tired to do anything else, lol.

Flashback

I've been thinking a lot about my Nala a lot lately. It's been almost 2 years since she's been gone and I still miss her terribly and get teary eyed. I found this picture of her and get a little chuckle and remember what a great kitty she was.

Food Storage

I finally decided to heed the words of counsel from our leaders and start my food storage. I ordered this from the church website. It contains wheat, oats, rice and beans. The cans are a pretty descent size. Of course I will be adding more canned goods, water, ect. But at least it's a start! :)

The Bedroom

Well today I officially have to lock the kitties out of the bedroom :(

I spent the entire day cleaning out my closet, dusting, vacuuming, wiping everything down, washing all my bedding and putting an allergen mattress cover on my mattres and putting an allergen pillow casing on my pillow. I hate having to lock them out of the bedroom but it's doctor's orders if I want to keep them :(

The Closet

What was in my closet I ended up throwing in my living room for sorting. I can't believe how much crap I had stuffed in that closet! lol :)
Now it looks so much better! I even have some extra space on the shelves above where the clothes hang :) A friend of mine is going to be having a garage sale and the proceeds of that are going to be going to as a donation to the bagdad pups.
Today I tackled my closet! Doesn't it look horrible!

Isn't this ridiculous!!!??? I'm going to have to be on either meds for the rest of my life or I can have injections and anywhere between 1-5 years I may become immune to all these things.

Since cats is on the list and I have 2 I am now going to have to keep them out of my bedroom at all costs. I don't have to find them new homes, I just can't have any more and when it is their time to go I won't be adopting anymore animals. :(

Carmen's Graduation

Today Carmen graduated from college with a nursing degree :) This is her fiance Joffe and his brother Jayon before it started.
